Welcome to the Lone Star Chapter, International Code Council. We are Building Officials, Code Inspectors (including Code Enforcement and New Construction), Plans Examiners, and associated professions from Central Texas, working in municipalities ranging from College Station to Waco and all points in between. We have two categories of membership. The Active category is for Code Inspectors and others working for municipalities. The Associate membership is for our valued vendors and those who are involved in building and building safety.

Our chapter belongs to the ICC Region X Coalition of the International Code Council, our governing body, which includes Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas chapters.

What are Code Inspectors? We are certified professionals who inspect both new and existing private homes and businesses to ensure they meet building and fire safety codes. We are dedicated to building safety and fire prevention.

Our chapter consists of over 70 active and 10 associate members. We hope you will consider joining us if you are interested in building and fire safety.
